Hi, I'm back after a little hiccup with my connection. During that time I pushed myself to do some work on the Duckyboos site, and I was wondering what you think of this experiment I'm doing? Basically it's a scrollbox, which is being used to tidy up the front page. Thanks.

Yeah, that's a good idea. It should tidy it up quite well. Are you doing more work on the other sections of the site at all? Like the Miscellaneous one?

Thanks for your feedback Nightwish. I've been working on the Misc section as well, so far it'll contain a trivia page [did you knows and international names], and there'll also be a personality quiz, a "you know you're a Duckula fan" page, and when I gather such, an articles & interviews section. I'll ask Jano if I can put up the English interview he did with Joe McCaffery last year, and I think I found the portfolio of a merchandise illustrator, so I'll see if he's up for a grilling too. The products page will have an update too, mainly the toys and computer games section, as I decided to put new shots of my dolls up on it.

Great ideas Stacey! The scrollbox would make home page more elegant! Wow, I cant wait to have a look on the misc section (personality quiz!). Please, if there is something I could do, I'm willing to help. I got a list of international names, fonts, banner ideas, just ask.

I have a few photos I took at a CH exhibition a few years ago (including one of me and 'Igor' ) If I can find them, you're more than welcome to put them up. I also have two production cels from the show itself.

Great ideas! I have a fun idea- maybe an 'interview' with Duckula himself!

@ Shychick: What like the one at TeenFi you posted last year? Similarly I found another on a pro-vegetarianism site. @ Gaston: Those would make an awesome contribution! ;D Was the exhibition the one in Liverpool or somewhere like that which the owner of Cosgrove Hall Ate My Brain went to? @ Lourdes: So far I have 9 international titles, and they are French, German, Italian, Spanish, Czech, Polish, Swedish, Dutch, and Portuguese. My PC doesn't have the East Asian language packs though Any more from like European countries would be appreciated too.

It was the one in a museum in Salford, which I seem to remember CHAMB describing as being set in an eerie deserted Resident Evil-esque area. I agree with her!

Ah, I see.
I also have another favour to ask everyone. As you know, Duckyboos aims to provide screenshots from every single episode of Count Duckula, but I'm having problems grabbing them from just one episode, and the reason for that is the fact that the actual disc is a little faulty. It's the episode The Vampire Strikes Back, and when it gets around to the bit where the Oids come up to the lumber room, it screws up like whoa.
Screencapping multiple images is simple, all you need to do is pop your dvd into Media Player Classic [not Windows Media Player] as opposed to say PowerDVD, and when you see something worth taking, click File > Save Image, and it'll save into a nice JPG. Anyone who can do that for me will get a free art request from me since I don't have a lot to do art wise, ;D
While we're on about this, anyone else with the American Season 1 DVD have the same problem with that one episode? I've tried playing it on both my PC and my new laptop.

Yep, Stace, I bought that set when on holiday in Memphis in Oct. 2005 (watched most of 'AutoDuck' and 'The HunchBudgie of Notre Dame' with my brother and half-asleep father for the 1st time in years!) and 'The Vampire Strikes Back' sticks on my DVD player too. I can easily get screen-caps for you as I bought the UK release too (and the VHS tape), which doesn't seem to have this problem (although season three, disc one screams a bit unless I re-postion my player). I also own a cel of Nanny & Igor from that episode.

@ Shychick: What like the one at TeenFi you posted last year? My Gaston, what is it that it is that she is meaning by this?
