OK, I ask this because I've been getting emails from Lourdes saying that she can't view the site, despite all of my suggestions I've given her... Strangely enough both my site and its host, fateback, work fine to me in three different browsers, so I'd like to know if anyone else is having trouble visiting the site. Thanks.

Ah, I didn't finish those, sorry OK, all good so far then... I have a gut feeling there must be a problem connecting to Fateback in wherever Lourdes lives... Edit: if anyone else is still having problems, I've created a mirror here: homepage.ntlworld.com/tehrobocoddess87/

Thank you very much Stacey! The mirror does work! ;D Phew, thank god for that. In fact, I think I might replace the old version [fateback] with this new one, since there's no ads or anything on this webspace [not only was that top ad ugly, but it was also impossible to block even with Adblock and it interfered with my CSS]. Right, problem solved!

I've got a terrible problem with the page refreshing itself like MAD. Everytime I come on the forum it refreshes really rapidly, nonstop. It's been doing this for a while, but it would only refresh a couple times, then be done. But now I have to actually 'stop' the page to get it to quit. That does the trick and it doesn't act up at all after that at all. I've tried logging out, logging back in, restarting my PC.... Any suggestions?

Proboards is already aware of this apparently, I hope the following link helps. If you could provide info about what browser, antivirus etc you're using I can forward that info for you. support.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=support&thread=309017&page=1Edit: If anyone else is getting this, I'll need the following questions answered here so I can forward. 1) What browser are you using, and what version [eg. If you've got Firefox then the version you're using would read like this: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042316 Firefox/3.0.10] 2) What antivirus apps are you using, and again what version? 3) Are you accessing the forums via a bookmark? It seems that this is affecting those using Internet Explorer, so in the meantime I encourage you guys to try Firefox, Opera or Safari and see if it works better. Thanks!

Aaah, of course. I can't believe I didn't even think to blame freakin Internet Explorer. I have IE 7, by the way. We have Firefox, but I guess ten years of habit still has me clicking IE D8
We have Norton Antivirus, though for the life of me I can't recall which version. And yes, I do access the forum through bookmark.
Of course now that I've pointed it out, it's stopped spazzing and hasn't refreshed once =\

You sure everything's OK now?
Personally I can't stand IE, but I only use it as a last resort if a site isn't fully working in FF, even with scripts allowed and stuff.
Thanks for your info anyway. Anyone else that's got the refreshing problem though, do give a shout, mmkay?
