Hello all.
My name is Wolfsfang (not wolfgang), a long time lover of all things Duckula ever since it was shown on CITV here in the UK.
Despite still having the VHS tapes of Ducky I have recently started watching the show after several years when I bought the DVD box sets.
So yeah its great to be here with fellow Count Duck-ophiles.
(I just wish you could get to see Towser just once as I love werewolves)

I was only about 1 when Count Duckula first aired on CITV and I don't think I watched anything back then but Disney films, but thankfully I had Nickelodeon on cable when I was 7. ;D
Pleased to meet you, and I hope you enjoy your stay in this fine forum!

Yeah, strange that Count Duckula is the only show I remembered from CITV as if it was yesterday. All my other childhood faves I have had to get reacquainted with. I think this goes to show how well written and how much of a classic Duckula is

It was probably Duckula that inspired me to become a vegetarian as I sort of remember eating meat before I started watching the show... then I just seemed to stop. Now it is so much a part of me I don't even think about it.

Although I love vegetables I also love MEAT! So I'd get on equally with Duckula or Igor at the dinner table. Mind you, I'll eat just about anything as long as it's not too sugary. I remember asking for brocolli sandwiches for my Duckula lunchbox 'when I were a lad' - I still love them with tomato sauce - yummy!

Yeah I am not one of those veggies who think eating meat is wrong and everyone should stop. It is a personal choice and I refuse to force my beliefs on others
Except the Count Duckula is the greatest cartoon .... EVER

Nice to meet you, Wolfsfang! I have been vegetarian for some years, but it is not easy in a country as mine, in which food is almost a religion...now I eat also meet, but mostly fish or chicken - not bloody steacks! Hope you will enjoy this forum!

Oooooh! I'm afraid I have a weakness for bloody steaks! (and no I'm not swearing) Lots of roast veg with it though and a glass of....red. Yummy!

Never got around to officially welcoming you myself, Wolf! Always a pleasure to have a fellow Duckula fan among our lot! ;D It really is a nice place here- we're extremely mature, no flaming or swearing. It's very peaceful. I hate most veggies, and am an avid consumer of meat... particularly steak, juicy and tender, and with lots of blood. However, I DO love broccoli, esp. with melted cheddar on top! I also enjoy it in sandwich-form, like Duckula! Melted cheese, lots of ketchup, and mayo! Yummy! (My parents think I'm mad.) I live in Canada, so we don't get ITV, but one of our children's networks is called YTV. Back in the early 90s, I used to watch Duckula constantly- although looking back, the only thing I remember is the ending sequence- and being freaked out by it, while my friends used to find it extremely hilarious (I remember watching it with some of them at my place)- and Nanny in her sling, calling the Count "Ducky-boos." (I always used to wonder what was wrong with her arm.) It's weird, but that is ALL I remember.
