Now while the show is extremely funny and the Count is a great comedian I have to say I feel very sorry for such a tragic character I mean here is a poor guy who is not only descended from a long line of evil vampires... he is actually his own evil ancestors (a part of his character that I have always loved). So not only does he have the problem of Von Goosewing trying to kill him and Igor trying to transform him (and Nanny trying to hug him) he also has to live with what they/he did in his past lives. I know he likes to laugh and have fun as much as he possibly can but I feel that such a sweet hearted duck can only be emotionally (and very deeply) hurt by the knowledge of all the evil deeds he has committed in all his centuries of living (and re-living)... deeds that Igor is only too happy to remind him of. Poor little Ducky Boos

Also, if people aren't terrified of him, they never take him seriously. He is likable, but is also a flawed character. I've often thought he was like a tragic Tony Hancock figure.

Yeah, I know what you mean, Wolfsfang, but there is something I always liked of Duckula's character: despite the past and his imposed fate, he tried to live an undead life ( ) of his own!

Oh yeah I agree, he has always tried to live his life as well as he possibly could. It just seems a shame that if he ever passed away Igor would bring him back as the fiend he once was. My hope is that as well the vampiric powers of teleportation, no reflection and being able to understand bat language... he also as the immortality that comes with being a vampire and that vampire hunters such as Von Goosewing finally realise that he is a nice guy and he is able to live forever as the softhearted vegetarian that we all love.

You know one of my favourite things about Ducky Boos is his hair. Not only is it funny seeing a cartoon duck with jet black hair... but it is such a cool style as well

Now I feel really sorry for poor Ducky Boos.. well my plush toy. I just found him in my attic / loft (whatever you want to call that storage space at the top of your house) but as you can see he has lost his cape and is a bit dirty. my poor little Ducky Boos.

Blimey, looks like he's had a terrible time in the loft. I think I still have some old childhood girls' toys in the loft, god knows what condition they'll be now.
