Remember in the episode "Dear Diary", when the great-grandfather was hit with a stake and Igor ran to him and held him because he was devastated that he thought his master had died (in a way lol)? Does anyone think that if that happened to the current Count Duckula that Igor would do the same thing to him? Do you think Igor would be as upset?

I am definitely see Igor being just as upset if anything were to happen to the current Count Duckula that might make him die.
He might even be more upset if he were to believe that his vegetarian state had caused him to be an easy target for vampire hunters.

I don't know. Igor seemed to like the great-grandfather more than the current Count Duckula. Personally, I don't think Igor would act the same way. I just can't see that happening. Of course, I could be wrong.

Good question!
I think Igor would be upset at first, since is his duty to protect the Count (even the current one!). However, he can see the demise of the current Duckula as a chance to start it over, so the next Count would be a proper vampire.

He'd be upset that he failed in his duty to protect the master. But possibly would be happy that at last he has a chance to 'put things straight' as it were.

Yes, that all makes sense. I'm not sure how much Igor actually likes the current Count compared to the ones before him, but he definitely has loyalty to the Duckula family either way.
