What did you think of this movie? Did it live up to your expectations? Did you find it a satisfying ending to the trilogy?
I was expecting the movie to be the same quality as Toy Story 2, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was shades better than the previous two.
While the opening was a bit cheesy, it was actually quite cool when it showed it was actually Andy's imagination.
I am actually quite shocked how evil Lotso was. Even after Woody-them saved him, he left them there to die. I even believed for a moment that they would all be burnt to ashes. Boy, was I ever happy for a Deus Ex Machina. I had tears in my eyes when Andy gave Bonnie his toys; and how heart-felt he was when Bonnie made Woody wave him goodbye.
I found it to be a solid movie, through-and-through. 10/10.

Me and my bf must be like the only ones that actually didn't cry at the movie despite how brutal the incinerator scene was, but then again I hardly get emotional at such movies, like Up.
Yeah I was surprised at Lotso being evil too but the movie had to have an antagonist somewhere, since Sid's a garbageman now and Al's nowhere to be seen. Also LOL at all the Ken and Barbie scenes ie the one where Barbie was tearing all his clothes up.
One last thing, Totoro! =D

Yet I half-expected him to redeem himself by rescuing Woody and the others. It looked like he was going to, yet he decided to save himself. I just loved the twist and how it showed how cold his heart was. Those scenes were awesome. Barbie was actually cool in that scene. Gotta love how Totoro stared at everyone without saying a word

It was one of the best films I have ever seen. Spanish Buzz!! Lotso got his comeuppance in the end up though. I nearly cried but not quite. The 3D glasses me and my boyfriend had on were ridiculously big, we looked right geeks And ohh, the Pixar short in the beginning was so clever!! Night and Day will never be the same again.

This movie's story flowed quite nicely and didn't have any hiccups at all. Spanish Buzz was a riot. I'm quite grateful the movie had subtitles when he spoke, or else I wouldn't have understood anything during those scenes. Ironically enough, Lotso actually got a big honor in the end. Unfortunately for me, only the 2D was airing when I went to watch the movie. Day & Night was a great short. Very original and had a good moral in the end.

I didn't bother with 3D for Toy Story 3 because not only does it cost more I didn't seem to notice much, the only time I did watch something in 3D it was Avatar but that was only because I went with my sister and her fiance that wanted to see it in that format. I still have them somewhere because somehow they let you keep them.
