Greetings everybody, I have returned at last to this wonderful forum. Can't believe it's been so long! I would have to say my favourite foods are pizza, Mexican and chocolate.

Welcome back Nightwish and Steffie! ;D Ah! Seems like both Italian and Mexican cuisine are ruling this topic at the present

I love sirloin steak (with LOTS of blood/juice in it), prime-rib (cooked the same way), baked potato, and cooked broccoli.
I just had steak and potato tonight, actually!

Steak is yummy... I was tortured by the smell of it being BBQed in my neighborhood and started craving it bad.

Maybe some day I'll attempt Tiramisu and other Italian cooking in general [we're growing plum tomatoes in our garden so I'm thinking of using a few for bruschetta or something]. Just today I did my second attempt at minestrone from scratch, the first time I did it I just thought I'd try it as I never had a packet version of it before.
Back to Japanese food, recently got a box of organic miso soup and I thought it tasted quite good [apparently vegan too, pretty sure I heard my bf's sister's husband say he loves it]. Love to try and make some with proper miso paste some time though in honesty a lot of Japanese cooking ingredients are killer expensive. But the way I see it, I may as well spend the money once and if I don't like it, I don't buy again, but if I do then I buy in moderation, lol.
Can't say I like a lot of Mexican food but if anyone can recommend me some dishes that are vegetarian and aren't spicy, I'll be interested. We tried making fajitas with as little of the powder as possible and with quorn instead of chicken and I quite enjoyed it, very messy though!
