I agree. I have never understood the Egg's relevance in Count Duckula as a whole. I think it's always been the least interesting villain. Long live Goosewing!
Does anyone remember the episode where the artwork was not really up to scratch? I can't remember if it was a lesser plot but I do remember the characters looking slightly peculiar with this strange style.

Long live Goosewing! Indeed! ;D
Hello my Nightwish and welcome back!
Poor Egg, he he he! Perhaps he was created o be more evil-like villain, because Goosewing is not evil at all! Don't you agree?
The episode is Unreal Estate, this episode is like a pilot episode or something, since everything is as first episode.
Regards! ;D

Ah indeed my dear Lourdes, Von Goosewing is not evil at all, but he regards himself as an enemy of our Count so we must respect his position (he he).
Yes, you are quite possibly right, the Egg may have been created to be more evil, but his villanous manner really is a joke. But then again everything in this show is a deliberate joke! ;D
Well I suppose it makes sense for Unreal Estate to be a pilot like episode, what with the differing artwork. I do believe the most continous artwork throught the shows is the best. Personally I preferred the earliest Duckula episodes out of all. That magical wit and dry humour seemed to dissipate out of the later episodes. Perhaps the creators knew they were approaching a closure and ever so slightly slacked as a result.

I thought I'd throw my thoughts in to this. I think Autoduck, as do a few others, is not so good. I would also have to say that Ducknapped is not one I watch a lot. For some reason it drags on and on.
But hey thats just me. I love them all, but the above two I sort of pass up.

I agree Pato, well I like Ducknapped episode (in this case, Spanish especially) because is funny, but I could had really use some more Goosewing, because I feel like his role was rushed or something.

I definitely agree with those who say the quality of the series greatly began to decline after Season 2. I dunno... Duckula just began losing his charm, and the eps became kinda boring. They could have done much better.
