I think most of the people here are too young to remember him. Even if the series was pretty parallel to the last "Duckula" episodes. And it ran almost simultaneously with "Bram Stoker's Dracula" in cinema. Only those who were children at "Duckula" back then ... were too young for this other series. "Forever Knight" was a Canadian vampire series. Difficult to describe, crime, humor, drama? www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPhIEG3JYtgNick Knight was a vampire who regretted what he had done over the centuries. As a restitution, he became a cop in Toronto. And solved murder cases. The series had a lot of humor, but also extreme depth and thoughtfulness. Nick would have got on very well with a count Duckula. Nick's colleague didn't know that he was a vampire, which led to all kinds of funny scenes. Here are a few excerpts from the series ... The series can now also be found on Youtupe. Forget season three, though. The end of the series is horrible! About as if "Duckula" ended with Count Igor asking to stake in. And this one does too. www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3sjrfS_QyEwww.youtube.com/watch?v=bpr8bRZmtcswww.youtube.com/watch?v=XrRvboYrWz8www.youtube.com/watch?v=2q42-JQOVYMFor a short time Nick managed to be human. Which led to ... strange situations. www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnGkkRFpZIIThe special thing about this series was that there were "flash-backs" in each episode, in which experiences from Nick's vampire past were shown. Unlike Duckula, Nick can remember exactly what he did. So you always made a "journey" through history. In which the vampire also got to know historical figures. However, these memories often made Nick very unhappy and depressed. How would Duckula fare if everything was still known? www.youtube.com/watch?v=gk7vKz6XVt8www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpr8bRZmtcsWhich leads to the next punk, what was special about the series. The vampires often had very human problems, from growing older to "what's the meaning of my life?" (A vampire even committed suicide by exposing herself to the sun) had to write until the tax return.
