...That subject sounds weird. Anyways, I've noticed that a few others of you are also fans of the likes of the Disney Ducks universe, ie. DuckTales and Darkwing Duck (and Quack Pack and the comics/original shorts, etc.). Being a huge fan of Darkwing Duck in particular, going into Count Duckula I always felt like it would fit pretty easily into the same universe as the former. Both shows involve a pretty similar version of Translyvania (Darkwing's girlfriend, Morgana, is a witch from there). In my head, and future fanfiction series, the two worlds are one and the same and I plan to cross them over quite a bit. So this got me thinking... Anyone else ever felt the same about this, or anything else? Heck, it doesn't even need to be an animal world -- the anime Hellsing (which, yes, I know some of you are also fans of) comes to mind, though I haven't seen that one myself. I don't know. Some aren't big on crossovers, and in some regards I think that's completely understandable. But the cases where it can be easily imagined fascinate me for some reason. But maybe I'm just weird.

LOL! Well I didn't really mean it to be all about me, but I can see why you moved the thread anyhow. I debated on which place to put it, then decided the general discussion board since it was, well... general. But I want to hear others' ideas as well! But since we're here, I've been thinking of doing a Duckula/Twilight one. Actually, not even really a cross-over (I'm not a fan of Twilight), but more like a Duckula parody of it. Seems amusing to me.

WednesdayFriday: LOL! Sorry, I didn't mean to upset you! Please write down the Twilight parody, it would be so funny, I don't know but after reading Dracula and Carmilla (WednesdayFriday, this is a must read too!), well you know what I mean!

Oh no, you didn't upset me. I just wanted to make clear that I wanted other input as well, was all. I've been thinking for a while now that I'd do the Twilight parody. I'm trying to decide who to use as the girl: Vanna is the obvious choice I guess, but I'm inclined to use Miss Luscious Lulubelle from Dead Eye Duck. I think it would make it infinitely more funny.

I haven't read Twilight, but I have heard that the girl is really girly-girl to no end, is that is true, perhaps Vanna would do great; Miss Luscious is the wild west girl! Well, tell us about.... Wait, I'm reading about Bella character...
... Please, Miss Luscious is perfect! ;D
Last minute news: I have moved this topic back, I do apologize for the inconveniences, I have understood this topic was for a brain-storm discussion.

LOL I wanted to make Miss Luscious the girl because she seems wrong for the part. Lulubelle seems like such a floozy, haha. She's actually my favorite of Duckula's supposed love interests. Vanna might be better for the role, but I think Miss Luscious instead falls more in line with the show's sense of humor.

XD I supposed so! ;D
I have seen the front-page of the movie-book today, I can picture it!
Some people I know here are in love with both books and movie, I don't like the vampire concept of that story, I am much more into folklore, totally, being vampire hunting my main interest.

LOL The front page... I imagine the poster for this version to be the same thing with broccoli instead of an apple. xD Are they? I hope they're not offended! I'm not a fan of Twilight -- I'm completely in agreement with you on liking the folklore stuff better. But I don't actually want to make a Duckula parody because I dislike it: I want to make it because it seems like such a glaringly obvious thing to do.
