Hello everyone. Hope you are all well. Sorry for not being on in quite some time, been very busy. Since it's coming up, I might as well ask. Are any of you doing anything for Valentine's? I've been so caught up in work and studying that I haven't had much time to think about it. I think I've only entered a competition on another forum to win something Valentine-related from a singer that I like. I only did it for a laugh though, but it's the closest I've got to doing something for the day. I bet poor Duckyboos wouldn't have much of a chance, Igor would probably ground him. ;D

I'm working D: Closing even. Damn you, deli! I will try to make myself draw something heart related though. But I can't promise it won't be something like Igor holding a bleeding human heart

I would love that too Juno! ;D
You mean a fowls heart, right? But there are hints of humans in Duckula's world, have you noticed this? It could lead to an interesting hypothesis!

My only plans would have to be a fan-fic I'm working on: Nanny's Valentine Date, since Valentine's Day means Singles Awareness Day for me.

Just think of all the money we'll save! Although I did get my 1st ever card last year. Let's see if I can keep up the trend and get two this year!

Friends are better anyway - they don't expect expensive candle-lit dinners! Although it's a nice bonus.

It's something awareness day to be sure. I'll be spending it 'lonely' as well, but hey, Lourdes is right - I have awesome friends, which amount to way more than some doofy candlelit whatever and cheap chocolate. I will do that, then! Ha, as Lourdes said, a fowls heart, to be sure. Ah Igor <3 So much fun. On a very mildly related note, I feel like talking about what I did at work today (whilst being on the subject of Igor dismantling birds/people) So I work in a deli. I did 'chickens' for the first time by myself today. This entails pulling the little buggers completely raw, and totally freezing out of these bags inside boxes, seasoning them, and putting them on racks. But the fun part came later, after I had prepped them - When you put them in the rotisserie you have to cute off the exess fat from the neck area, then hack off it's already severed little neck. GAH! I feel so terrible doing it D: I mean, if it weren't for chicken I'd be vegetarian, but.... Urgh. Poor little buggers! Then I have the spike them on these big metal stands, and set them to roast. However, after it's all said and done, the DO smell pretty damn good. I have yet to try one, but it's the only thing from the deli that makes my mouth water at the smell of it. But yeah, my fuin and interesting story for the day I think of Nanny every time I have to mess with the chickens, and it makes me a little sad inside <3

Juno: yeah, we would like more Igor! ;D By the way, that was so sad! Perhaps if you talk with your boss you would be able to move to a different task in your workplace.

*notices* Everyone here is spending Valentine's day alone?? ...Me too! Glad I'm not alone in being alone. I'll spend my time on here (speaking of which, sorry I was away for a long time. Exams 'n' all. ) ^Juno, that's really sad!! ...Yeah, maybe you should try to talk to your boss to switch tasks. (Get Igor to do the job XP)

I would not be spending Valentine's Day alone if it were not for my ex-boyfriend cheating. It was only two months into our relationship and soon he found entertainment in seeing someone else whilst being with me. So I have decided, as you have pointed out, to make it a day for friends instead.
