I'm not sure why I'm getting this, but I tried uploading some files onto the webspace I use to host Duckyboos today, and I keep getting a 550 permission error. Google doesn't help, Fire FTP's trouble shoot doesn't help, and Virgin won't help unless you fill in a massive form asking for stuff like the account number which only my dad knows, and it's already known that Virgin's technical support is a massive heap of crap. I really don't know what to do, because I've got a load of updates and stuff to put up, and even if I'm to get a new webhost, I won't be able to pull of the old one either. I'm really upset with this.

That happened with my old Geocities site and Yahoo are awful at helping or even responding.

Oh no, Stacey! *hugs* If I only know what to do... There must be something we could do to help you... Do you think it could be the Internet connection, or just your host? Bravenet has a tool to move a site to a new host, I believe...

I can get access to my directories by logging in just fine, so it's most likely to do with the server I was using, which belongs to Virgin/NTLworld. And to be honest, I don't want to use Bravenet again, because I hate the ads and the sort of spam it gets.

It's cool, I guess. My only last resort would be snail mailing my ISP once I get hold of the account number. It'll take a lot longer but we're not putting ourselves through the horrible phone service again.

Oh, thanks Stacey! Let's hope that is going to work and everything would be alright...
