For the past few weeks, I've been scanning all three of the Duckula annuals for those who haven't seen the contents yet. But I've been sceptical about hosting them on Duckyboos, mainly for copyright reasons.
As we know, I can definitely not provide cartoon episodes anymore due to copyright and the amount of time it takes to upload each one, as well as that they're all on DVD in the UK now. But I figured that not everyone's been able to collect the books, and I see it as a "try before you buy" sort of thing. Evaluation and educational purposes, in fact.
So you think I should? The second and third ones in particular are so beautifully illustrated I don't think they could go without being shared.

I've voted that I would like to see them but I'm not sure about copyright issues. All the same it would be good if you could put them up.

OK, all three annuals are finally done. They've been packed in ZIP files that range from 8MB to 13MB. That's cool, but I only have like, 55MB of space on this free webspace thing, and these will take up a lot of it. So I also considered mirroring them on sites like Rapidshare, Megaupload etc, but they have to keep being downloaded from, and I'm not gonna be uploading them several times.
Another option is to host them in the gallery. At the same time, I'll be moving all of the images there to a spare Livejournal account I created solely for this purpose, but have not used it until recently. Either way it has plenty of space, just like a photobucket account. Would that be better?

I have no words Stacey, to tell you how grateful I am! ;D ... Oh, you have worked on this so much! Thank you! It is a good idea to post them in the Photobucket-like account.

Right, then I shall work on uploading those as well as the whole move after I get home from work tomorrow. Edit: They're online now. pics.livejournal.com/dboos_gallery/gallery/0000fhrtThe rest of the move will hopefully continue throughout the weekend [yay a 3-day one!] provided I have the time since I'll be going round my grandparents' places.

It's not so much the colours, I can easily change those, it's spacing and everything I'm having trouble with.

Thank you so much Stacey for the annuals. It's great to read those books. I just love how it feels just like the show, but just on paper. Are they really for the little youngins?

Really and truly they're supposed to be for kids up to 12 years, but what Duckula fan over that age could resist Alan Case's lush art in the last two?

For kids up to 12? I have said this before, but I don't see Count Duckula as a kids show... And the book's work art is so beautiful! Thanks again Stacey!
