It's bizarre. So much other stuff is rleased - maybe they're frightened it'll offend the French in these overly PC days.

I kinda have my doubts the French would go to war over a cartoon, Fremantle.

I wonder if they think there's no point - they probably presume no-one can remember it.
They could at the very least repeat it on telly...

And telly corporations wonder why people put up TV stuff as torrents. :/
As I keep saying I will check Play.com from time to time because anything can just about crop up at anytime.

Maybe, but there wasn't an outcry when, for example, "Castle Duckula: Open to the Public", was released... remember the stereotypical japanese/chinese tourists? But yeah, they may think that no one will remember them... Gah, Fremantle's market research must be doing something wrong!! Even so... there's still ONE episode on DVD... it's a start... even if it was released something like 2 or 3 years ago... I, also, shall be checking the inernet regularly for any news on V&H... *stares at computer*

Duckula is riddled with German stereotypes [the whole "silly German professor" thing] and well as others, and it's still popular in such countries. And if anything, stuff like South Park can seriously offend some, and yet that's still being on DVD as season sets here. I often check the Animation section regularly, maybe I should try Kids/Family as well.

True, but the powers-that-be will trot out any old excuse to try and keep us quiet, (I've been there so many times) to the point of contradicting themselves.
And remember 'South Park' is an 'adult' cartoon so it can be as nasty as it wants!

What bothers me greatly is that they completely ignore you when you email them about it. Oh, it's like trying to get DiC to release Sonic the Hedgehog onto DVD all over again.
