...might sound a bit mad and/or sad (perhaps a little 'Trekkie'-esque) but I reckon a lot of us fans could meet up for a night of Count Duckula related shannaneggins and fan-ness. We could all meet up (suitably attired as a character from the series) in a tavern or inn with a villagey atmosphere and have a few whilst discussing our favourite aspects of the series. Then back to someone's home or flat etc. for some episode viewing and othe hi-jinks! Does that sound like a good idea? Or simply the ravings of a sad person with too much time too think on his hands?

Yes, it sounds like a good idea! I would like to have it at Whitby. I don't know why but I have always imagined meeting you guys, are we like our favourite characters? Unfortunately, I don't know how to organize the meeting. In addiction, I am unable to travel at the moment Perhaps we, Duckula folk of this forum, have a special meeting here on-line, at a specific day and time in which we can be all together in the forum

Lucy Westenra and Mina Harker are spending their holidays in Whitby. Dracula's ship runs aground there. It's the first place where he puts his foot on British soil.

Guess I'll have to re-read that book, it's been a while!
