Who do you think played the best Count Dracula out of all the films made? Mine would have to be Gary Oldman in 'Bram Stoker's Dracula'. I don't know why but I think he just portrayed him really well. Truly gothic style. ;D
What do you guys think?

I'd have to see a few more to judge properly.

Leslie Neilsson in Dracula: Dead and Loving it. ^^; That film was hilarious.

Gary Oldman is my favourite too, and I love also the victorian gowns Winona Ryder wears in that movie...but Bela Lugosi was the best Dracula of all. The one in "Van Helsing", instead, is the worse. In my opinion.

The one in "Van Helsing", instead, is the worse. In my opinion. I agree with you Serenity, but the film was funny! My favourite is Max Shreck from "Nosferatu" However, Bela Lugosi is the one! I absolutely love Van Helsing from 'Bram Stoker's Dracula' ;D

Bela Lugosi! The original and the best!!! Van Helsing was alright. My friends absolutely loved it but some people said it was slightly cheesy. In my opinion, it was your average type of film. Also it was said that 'Dracula 2000' was terrible but I actually liked watching it, it was fun! (Oh, I am so sad, I find cheesy films fun. ;D)

Bram Stoker's Dracula is cool! But I wanna see those with CHRISTOPHER LEE! Very old, Lee's performing was very scary (acording to my father and brother! I never saw those Dracula films with Lee...).

Christopher Lee was really good, though he really didn't speak too much. But, in my opinion, he was very sinister and scary. Gary Oldman was great, too. He was definitely a character to feel sympathy for, and he was so romantic. It was so sad that he had to live so long in misery before he found the soul of his beloved in Mina, if I understood that right. I've also seen the original Nosferatu (gotta love that one) and Frank Langella's version. Aside from the hair, I thought he was really hot, and as romantic, if not more romantic, than Gary Oldman. But my ABSOLUTE favorite was Bela Lugosi. He was so handsome and charming and yet very creepy and didn't have one problem with being evil. I'm also very obsessed with the actor. Sorry, Duckyboos, Bela came first. Does it matter that I'm responding to a thread that's over 3 years old?

What a question?
Gary Oldman! "Bram Stokers Dracula" since the movie it can't be told any better. The movie is simply a masterpiece!
