This year I plan to go as the sinister delight that is Igor the butler but I've no idea where to get materials for the mask and how to set about it. I have everything else, but the face will be difficult. I couls certainly try making one with my sewing skills, but i think the crown of his head probably needs to be mad of rubber and as for the white hair...tricky. He also has a tricky head construction - (funny, he has the smalleset cranial cpacity and is the most intelligent character on the show!)
Also any ideas for a hunchback without scrunching my head down whould help. I could simply stuff t-shirts into the top of my suit jacket I guess.

Halloween…wow! The only tradition we have is the pumpkin and discos which are open because the day after it is holiday: we disguise ourselves only in February for Carnival (in Venice it is fantastic)… I would create the hunchback with a cushion, it is more practical than several T-shirts. And for the mask, my best compliments if you can sew it! I am able only to attach buttons! The upper narrow part should start over your had; it must not be heavy, so you could use rubber: I am thinking about the red kitchen rubber gloves, with scissors and glue, it’s an art-attack!

Oh lordy! I never thought of that! Of course the tapering head should go ABOVE my own head and tghe big gloomy eyes can cover most of my face! Brilliant! I want to make a good job of this. The best thing about it is, I can take of the mask and remove the hunch and still look normal! I'll set to it soon and post up pictures if my efforts are any good! The air may be tricky though. I'll see what I can get at the sewing shop.

Wow, that sounds great, Gaston! I would like to see the photos. You should made the hunchback with a pillow to make it easy. The white hair could be done with fomy (a very light plastic material, here we call it fomy), or cloth fabrics or cotton... I'm not very helpful, I'm sorry, this is very difficult to me! However, I'm sure you will do great! Good luck! ;D

What a perfect choice! ;D You have to post us the photos! Just make sure you stay 'in-character' when handing out candy to the little brats who ring your bell! Btw, you could always poison the candy... or do the old 'razor-blade in 'apple trick. Bwahahaha! When the police question you, just tell them the truth- the butler did it!

Haha! Razor blades in the apples, eh? Have you been watching 'Bottom'? (BBC sitcom from the 90s).
I'll make sure I only drink 'red wine' all night. With the cold I have at the moment, the voice and depressed manner should be a sinch!

Well, my costume is now completed and I must say I'm very happy with the result. If I can get some photos up soon - I will!
