Right, well, I was just checking out the Production section of the CH Ate My Brain site, where it talks about how cel-animated shows were typically done back in the day.
When you take the time to consider- or even when you learn of- the behind-the-scene and production/techincal info. on your fave animated shows, does it take away from the whole alive, 'magical' feel of it? Or does it make you enjoy and appreciate it all the more?
For me, it does just the latter, because I respect how much work went into it... the whole quality of the show is why I enjoy it so much, from the voices, animation details, writing, characters, etc, and it couldn't have been done without the hard work of the animators, writers, voice-actors, and so forth.

It would have 'spoiled the magic' when I was a child, but not now. Makes me appreciate it all the more. I still find it hard to believe that all the high-quality episodes of Duckula were made within 3 years. I reckon the end credits were generic and had thte 1987-88-89 date on them regardless of when they were finished. I have, for example, a Goosewing model sheet dated 1986.
