The Avenger Penguins set was released by Delta Music if anyone know how to contact them. They did the Popeye set too. I have both of them.

Right, well, I sent FremantleMedia an email. I said I understood that they had released certain CH programs to DVD, and went on to say that I heard they also own the UK rights to V&H, asking them if they could please confirm this information. I then asked, if I was indeed correct, if they would consider releasing this series sometime in the future; if not, then why? (In a nutshell, that's the bulk of my email.)
That post I mentioned on the CH Ate My Brain forums, I'm not sure how old it was. I think it might've been at least a couple years old, though.
EDIT- Went back to look for it, and it was started on August 16 of '05. So, yeah, a couple years. Btw, I have copied-and-pasted the person's post: Obviously from reading this site there are loads of fans of the absolutely brilliant Victor and Hugo. I have contacted Freemantle Media who own the UK rights to the series and they told me they have no plans to release the series on DVD, other than the odd episode in compilations. I think it's about time that everybody bombards Freemantle Media with requests for a DVD. If we shout loud enough perhaps they might listen. The DVD will sell by the bucketload so let them know!!!!. Their email address is: videodvd@fremantlemedia.com. Let me know if anyone is interested in a petition or something similar.I havent got a clue how to set up an online petition perhaps if necessary someone can help. Cheers everybody.
So, yeah, if I hear anything from them, I'll let you know. *goes back to snuggling Victor, who furiously is trying to push me away, while floating tiny hearts rise up around my head*

Oh, good. Here is my email. Does it sound all right? To Whomever It May Concern:
I am a North American fan of some of the older programs of Cosgrove Hall Productions, and I understand you have released some of their shows onto DVD, including "Danger Mouse", "Count Duckula", and others.
It has come to my understanding, from a two-year-old topic in the forums of a fan-site devoted to CH programming, that you apparently own the rights to the series "Victor and Hugo, Bunglers In Crime" as well, and I merely wished to confirm whether or not this information was true. In addition, the same individual went on to state that they had once emailed you, only to be met with the unfortunate reply that you have no plans for an official release of this series; I was also hoping you could clarify this for me. If this is true, then I was wondering where you currently stand with regards to this series. I was hoping you could at least consider this program; though it may one of Cosgrove Hall's more obscure titles- mainly due to it having never been aired more than once, to my understanding- it was nevertheless an excellent show with many long-time fans eagerly awaiting its release. As an example, many of the topics in the forums for Cosgrove Hall Ate My Brain fan-site (the site I previously mentioned) are devoted to this very desire. It is, in every sense, a memorable classic, vaguely spun-off from "Count Duckula", and containing all the elements of humor and charm that CH's shows are known and loved for. Many fans of this series of the early nineties feel that it ought to finally get the treatment and recognition it has long since deserved. If you do, in fact, own the distribution rights to this show, then I request that you at least take it into consideration.
Please send me a reply at your convenience. Your time in the matter is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Sabrina

Very ploitely put. If that doesn't work I suggest more forceful methods are necessary. Like threatening them with a banana.

Lol, don't worry, it's all in good fun. Don't take me seriously; I'm just a typical goofy fangirl. Plus, I tend to get hyper when I'm online. I'm really just messing with ya... it's fun to make people go "Oooookkayyyy... riiiight." Btw, just as a matter of interest, can I see your email?

It's Amorrice80@yahoo.co.uk or granitoons@yahoo.co.uk for cartoon-related stuff. Stacey had to set up my profile for me because I was having difficulties and I'm afraid to change it in case I can't log in again.

Me a goose? I think you're tjinking of Lourdes!
Anyway here's wjhat I said - still no answer
-----
A lot of Cosgrove-Hall fans, myself included, would really love to see this show again. It never really had a fair run back in the earlies 90s but everyone I've asked about it remembers it and enjoyed it. I believe the full run could be released on a three-disc one-off set and I'd definately buy it! It's SO hard to find episodes of this rare gem. It's great to see Count Duckula has made it to DVD (even though the sleeve/cover art could be better!) but having the full set of Victor & Hugo would make my set complete. I am aware that one episode was released as part of a collection a few years back but that's not enough when there are 29 more hidden away waiting to be enjoyed and besides, 'Panda-Monium' was released on the VHS tape, which most fans already own. Please let me know when you plan to release this series, or failing that any other way I may obtain episodes of the show. Thanks Andrew Morrice ------
Reasonable?

Sounds good. I doubt we'll even get a reply, but ya never know. We could always storm Fremantle, and bust some heads. TAKE NO PRISONERS!! Seriously though, I'm just extremely grateful that you are sending me a copy of what eps you have. But alas, I am greedy...
