again, but I thought this character from my 'AstroCat' series might be equally at home in 'Count Duckula' www.deviantart.com/deviation/54777209Sorry if the link's slow, deviantArt is notorious for that, at least for me it is.

EXCELLENT model sheets; dang, they look professional! And he looks like a neat character too! By the by, I have been very curious about this series of yours. Could I have some background details on it, including what inspired you and how long you've been working on it?

AstroCat's a strip of mine I've been drawing (on and off) for about 10 years. There's about 10 episodes of 30 or so pages. I'm busy revamping the earlier ons (they could look better). It's about a space hero who works from a Space station fighting crime etc. There's pictures of him on my DeviantArt site and his latest adventure is currently running in the comic book I try to sell. Think of it as a cross between Danger Mouse and Count Duckula - kind of. And like Duckula with birds, 90% of the characters in 'AstroCat' are humanised cats.

Ta muchly. Here's his collegue, the professor, who always inadvertently annoys him! (he's not a bird, but I still think he's kind of 'Cosgrove-Hall-y' as is the general 'feel' of my strip) www.deviantart.com/deviation/51494251/<Link shortened due to page distortion>

I love these, they really capture the Duckula style that I love so dearly! ;D

Thanks a lot for that Stace. AstroCat is definately my most Cosgrove-Hall-ish strip out of the ones I do. In the unlikely event they ever got a TV series, I'd like CH to handle it. Here's them 'in action' so to speak. www.deviantart.com/deviation/55388320/This is the kind of thing you get if you buy my comic. Any tips on distribution venues would be appreciated. Also can you folks check your Yellow Pages to see if I'm listed there? It's 'Granitoons' under d for designers. Thanks.

Agreed, it is Duckula-style, no doubt

Dude, I can seriously say- without any doubt- that you, like Stace, could have been one of the top animators at CH in the good old Days of Yore. I shall certainly be checking out more of your stuff on DA! ;D

Thanks. Being compared favourably to Cosgrove-Hall? What a compliment. The humour of the strip is similar too, but that could come from me being British don'cha know! Working together with you lot on an episode or two would be fun! We are all aware of our writing talents too.
