I also wonder how, if they don't have a soul, do they manage to be continuously brought back time after time? It's probably okay to believe our Duckyboos has a soul, though. our duckyboos is ...a walking corporse....a cute green one

LOL No, he's not a zombie. He's a vampire! *secretly pleased and amused that she's placed the idea of Duckula being a corpse in everyone's head* Mwahahahaha. ;D

McRigor is closely related to Rory McDuckula perchance

I like to think the Count does have a soul. He's not a typical vampire, certainly, things like exposure to sunlight don't harm him.

Better question yet is that if Duckula can teleport, why doesn't he do it the numerous times that he's trapped by Goosewing?

If I can recall, he did that once in Unreal Estate [which then again may have been the pilot ;P].
Welcome do the forums BTW, DDShoesShowz.

Why thank you Stacy. One for the clarification and Two (and more importantly and certainly more flattering) for the welcome.

Just like I wonder why he doesn't use the fact that he's a vampire to his advantage when he's being threatened by someone. If I were in that situation, I'd be like, "Dude, back off, I'm a VAMPIRE."

Funny thing is; I can most definitely hear the Count saying that in his voice. Also, he could take the whole vampire angle to a new degree. Why not wear those fake pair of fangs we see in the opening? I'm sure one look at those guys and the neighbors would be a lot less nosy. Or how about contacts. Look! I've found a whole webpage entitled "Guide to Vampire Contact Lenses!" www.colormecontacts.com/vampire-contacts.htmPersonally? I think he should go for the Edward Cullen Vampire Lenses. Masculinely titled Amber Ambition! See, if the fangs don't drive them away; his eyes will draw them in! At least long enough for, oh...say about 700 pages of how chiseled and marble white his vampire bod is. This followed by 2 or 3 books on how much they want to have his undead baby and throw up a fountain of blood in the process.

Pretending to be a 'true' vampire when confronted by enemies is actually a great idea! Unfortunately, I think Duckula tries so hard to forget that he is a vampire- despite Igor always reminding him- that, well, he just forgets! Or perhaps he just doesn't want to give Igor the satisfaction, even at the cost of his own life and theirs... we all know how stubborn Duckula is! (And yet, he's a pure coward who would do anything to save his own butt, so I dunno.)
I've often thought how neat it would be if, when in a life-threatening situation at the hands of others, Duckula's vampire instincts would take over as a means of defense.

Same reason Yogi Bear never ripped Ranger Smith's head off I guess! Cartoon logic. Also I can't hear the Count saying 'dude' despite his American-ish accent. The show was just that little bit too Brrrrritish!

As to his teleporting to the phone booth, rather than using the phone in the castle- privacy, pure and simple. Same as how a teenager likes to get away from his overbearing parents, at times. This is especially convenient when Duckula gets one of his 'brilliant' plans that run contrary to Igor's wishes.
Think about it. The only ep where he used the phone in the castle was 'Rent-a-Butler', and they weren't there.
