If you think the art for the regular DVDs is bad, check out the alternative cover for the Complete set I saw in HMV earlier this year: This tiny image is the only one I could find, but I think you get the idea. It's horrible. At least the other ones weren't ridiculously stetched out to the point where Duckula looks twice as thin and tall as he does on-model!

I've been told on my blog that this is actually an art card that's slipped inside, apparently they're still including them in these sets.

It's amazing how crap a lot of the merchindising on this series is nowadays, especially given the high standards on the ACTUAL SHOW ITSELF! They should desing the set to look like the 'Lore of the D' tome Igor is readin in the opening titles, or the coffin. Maybe if they actually asked fans who actually watch the show for advice. I only hope they haven't flipped Nanny's sling over yet again.

The "Lore of the D" tome!
I'm totally with you my Gaston, well said, that would be just superb! ;D
A shame that is no likely to happen, but we can dream, it would be wonderful... They should let us Duckula folks to do the job!

This was released like, ages ago, and a friend of mine who has it confirmed to me that it does indeed have art cards inside. Sadly I didn't really have £35 to spare for it, not to mention it's quite hard to find even in HMV.

They did my Gaston? The DVD has been released? I saw it in my local HMV and Nanny's sling is inaccurate again. Why do they do this? And why do they insist on badly recycled stock art? How hard is it to do a decent screen capture? I can do it for nothing!

I can do it for nothing! Thanks for the info Gaston. I wish I could answer that question, yes, that is the question: why always stock art? Because of the copyrights or something? I don't know, they have the rights to make a DVD, but they aren't allowed to get some screengrabs? Come on!
