So, what are your all-time fave CH shows (including Duckula)... in order, just because I'm curious.
Mine are (and, incidentally, the only ones I've seen):
Count Duckula
Victor and Hugo, Bunglers In Crime
Danger Mouse

So Lourdes - you've seen the Penguins too! They are rather nifty!

My favourite is definitely "Count Duckula", and I also like "Danger Mouse". Apart from those two I can't say I've seen a lot of CH stuff... Haven't seen enough of "Wind In The Willows" to form an opinion, and I've (sadly) never ever seen "Victor & Hugo". I do feel like I've been missing out...

Well, I'm in the process of finishing a DVD set of 12 episodes for ShyChick if anyone else needs a copy.

I think all of the Cosgrove Hall productions are good. i suppose the ones I've watched the most are Count Duckula and Dangermouse. I didn't really watch the other ones apart from maybe a couple of times. It'd be good to see the other ones like Victor and Hugo again.

I watched it back in 1993/94, my favourite characters are Marlon and Harry! ;D A shame I never saw the cartoon in English However, Spanish was really good! Except for the intro theme because is much better in English.

The full set is out on DVD. The Badly Drawn Brothers were very funny too! As was Doom's over-acting!

As much as I don't want to admit it, along with Duckula, I also like some of the newer Cosgrove Hall shows that are aimed for the todds, like Fifi and the Flowertots and Engie Benjy. I love all the character designs and how awesome the animations are [not to mention how sexy Declan Donnoley's voice was as Benjy], and I'm into CH's stop motion so much that I can tell which show is made by them just by the movements! So what if their most recent stuff is marketed for kiddies, I think it's the animation that counts. I've watched quite a number of CH shows throughout my childhood, from Noddy to even the animated version of Sooty, from Oakie Doke to the Foxbusters, but it seems that they've made a lot more animations that I thought! It'll take a lifetime for me to watch them all! I like the look of two of the future shows they've got lined up in their site, mainly these two. So far though Duckula is my true fave, Victor and Hugo may come close once a DVD comes out.

Oldish thread I know but here is my answer
Count Duckula of course is my absolute fave (as well as fave show of all time) DangerMouse (without whom there would be no Ducky Boos) The Wind in the Willows
It would be great if they made a new series of Count Duckula. I'm sure David Jason would be up for it and if any other voice actors have passed away they can always get sound-a-likes. Just as long as it is made and looks EXACTLY the same way the original show does. I would hate for them to update it and give him modern clothes like something out of the Matrix (long leather coat and sunglasses).

IF they did new episodes (which seems unlikely) I doubt they'd 'jazz up' the characters attire. The Count is dressed as a traditional vampire (much smarter than all that Buffy stuff in my opinion) although he's the only one to get away with not wearing trousers!
Sadly, Jack May (Igor) passed on about a decade ago, but I'd be more than willing to have a go at filling the butlers shoes! (although I might need to age a bit first.)

Speaking of trousers. I always found it funny in the episode "Castle Duckula Open to the Public" after Ducky has just went for a sled ride on nanny wearing nothing but a towel... it slips down and for a moment he looks quite emabarrased pics.livejournal.com/robocoddess/pic/002346fhYeah and I knew about Jack May, I found that news to be very sad. Still like I said, I'm sure they could get someone else to do Igor. This world needs MORE DUCKULA
